Mothers Against Noise

Found this link at unofficial Radiohead site Atease with the following statement about Radiohead's music:

They use alot electronic noise and noise imagery within compositions and it may on the surface seem harmless but once our kids get hooked on dissonance they will only go further down the road for a bigger kick. If your child only has pop records and a Radiohead record, it might not be too late to save them.... please remove Radiohead CDs from their music collection. -Mothers Against Noise

Check out their website, theirs nothing like another group of moms trying to suck the fun out of life.

The Best of 2005

We all seem to remember the good much easier than we do the bad, particularly because most of life seems to be the bad. they say we dream in black and white, if so I say the good memories are in color. Here's my list of the moments that I see in full colour on a grayscale horizon behind me. (in no particular order)

Spending the start of 2005 with the person i loved most in the world

Falling in love with Julia Paoli

Ecstatic April 4th Birthday celebration with my good friends in London
-including the feeling one gets when returning a few dozen empty 2-4s found over the course of a night

Receiving a birthday card from Will that brought tears of joy to my eyes

May 2-4 weekend as junkies

Getting caught in a horseshoe thunderstorm with my mind far above the clouds with nothing but a long sleeve shirt, ripped jeans, and a few kms to walk

Two nights spent on the shore of the Thames, campfire ablaze, saugeen in sight, harmonica and guitar in unison

A night slept under the stars behind North Campus Building with Jofe

Hearing my brother intended on pursuing a future in philosophy

Monkey business in the Saugeen elevators with Neihya

Meeting Freedom the Barrie bum

Ending 2005 with the person I love most in the world

Half-full

Riding on E
And the tanks on empty
The sad truth is
We'll always be hungry
